2Beez Derby

In this module - Your child’s creative mind becomes a reality from idea, text to stage or screen. Our juniors writers and directors take control from a young age with us at 2Beez, building their confidence and self-esteem and their leadership roles, as they take turn to direct their own story narrative working with their friends to stage their very own plays and films in front of an audience.

Your child will step in to the feet of the writer and director, creating their own written scripts for Stage or Film. Understanding how to establish a play/film storyboard, writing plot synopsis characters breakdowns and producing a script for actors to perform with strong storylines and characters before going into production. Our younger directors merge themselves in to a world of intrigue and wonder, devising original stories to be staged, showcased, and screened for Film projects. This is a defining module for our younger performers as they become artist themselves, learning to be resilience in a competitive world, understanding what writers and directors look for and ultimately taking control of their own destiny as they become much better fully rounded performers themselves able to create plays and musicals as well as star in them. Our Senior directors are in control choosing their actors, co-directors, stage mangers, technical crew – lighting and sound, costume and props design and front of house, and this is a thrilling experience giving our young learner full control whilst being fully supported by our professional team of directors. In this module, our seniors get the full industry experience and knowledge to equip them for the world of entertainment, opening new exciting avenues within the industry to explore as a possible future career path.
