2 Our company
2.1 We are 2BEEZ. In this Privacy Policy, 2BEEZ is referred to as we, us or 2BEEZ.
2.2 2BEEZ is a Performing Arts Academy and owner of the 2BEEZ franchise rights for academies who have been granted the rights to operate their independently owned businesses as 2BEEZ Performing Arts Academies.
2.3 Due to the franchising relationship between 2BEEZ and our franchisees, in relation to personal data concerning your membership, 2BEEZ is the “data controller” for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (GDPR) and the franchisee is a “data processor”.

2.5 We do not collect information from anyone under 18 years of age and we ask that a parent or guardian provides this information on behalf of a child under their care.
2.6 You will be able to access information we hold by contacting the Data Protection Officer as indicated in section 2.4. You will need to verify your details so that we can identify your rights to this information.
2.7 Any incorrect information highlighted to us will be corrected immediately.
3 Your Personal Data
3.1 When you enquire about membership at a 2BEEZ academy or complete an application to enrol, we will have obtained information about you. Typically this information will be your parent or guardian’s name, name, address, email address, and phone number, emergency contact details, age, gender date of birth, and any medical conditions.
3.1.1 If you are submitting this information on behalf of a child under your care, we will also obtain your relationship to the child.
3.1.2 If the child is over 16, you will need their permission to submit this information to us.
3.2 If you begin a financial agreement with us through enrolment or as a franchisee, your basic details will be submitted to our accounts supplier, GoCardless, who will set up direct debit payments. All of GoCardless’s systems are approved by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and BACS.
3.2.1 As a franchisee, we will obtain additional information about you. Typically this information will be your name, address, phone number, email address, the duration lived at your address, living status (homeowner, rental, etc.), marital status, qualifications and interests. We will also receive details of any relevant criminal convictions and every franchisee will be required to provide a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) extended certificate, with the reference number and date of issue retained by us.
3.3 If you visit our website, we may automatically collect some personal information including your browser details and operating system, the originating website from which you reached our site, the visited pages on our website, the time and date of your visit, and the IP (Internet Protocol) address provided to you by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Some information may be collected by cookies. We may also collect any personal information that you allow to be shared or that is part of your public profile on a third party social network.
3.4 Our telephone calls are recorded for training and quality monitoring purposes and may also be used to verify any statements made during the telephone discussion.
3.5 How do we use your personal data, and the legal basis for this:
3.5.1 Where we have received your consent, we may provide you with marketing information about our products and services, the products and services offered by 2BEEZ or our franchisees, and the products and services of selected partners. In addition, we will keep you informed of events that we think will be of interest to you.
3.5.2 We may process your information to ensure you receive all the benefits of your enrolment at a 2BEEZ Performing Arts Academy.
3.5.3 We may process your information in order to comply with any legal obligations to us.
3.5.4 We may process your information to enable us to pursue legitimate interests including:
3.5.4.1 Analysis of our performance and the performance of our franchisees in the delivery of products and services to you.
3.5.4.2 Training purposes, Market research, and Website administration.
3.5.4.3 Fraud prevention or the prevention of other criminal acts.
3.5.4.4 Complying with a request from you, including the exercising of your rights in this privacy policy.
3.5.4.5 For the purposes of any corporate restructuring, sale of business or assets.
3.6 Will we share your personal data with any third party organisations?
3.6.1 We may share your data with our accounts supplier GoCardless to facilitate any financial agreements between us as stipulated in section 3.4.
3.6.2 We may provide necessary data to third-party providers for the purposes of providing services to us or to you directly on our behalf, such as tickets or merchandise delivery. When we use third-party providers, we will only provide the information necessary for them to provide the service and we will ensure that our agreement requires them to keep your personal information secure and to not use it for any other purpose.
3.6.3 We may transfer your data to government or other official bodies for the purpose of complying with any legal obligations, enforcement of our rights, or for the prevention or detection of a crime.
3.7 How long is your data kept by us?
3.7.1 If you have expressed an interest in our products or services, or any products or services provided by our selected partners, we will retain your contact details and related information concerning your enquiry for up to five years from the date of the most recent contact.
3.7.2 If you enrol with a 2BEEZ academy, enter into a Franchise agreement with 2BEEZ, or purchase products or services from 2BEEZ or our selected partners, we will retain the personal data relating to that specific financial arrangement (for example, order forms, invoices, receipts and related communications) for seven years from the date of the contract.
3.7.3 Voice recordings of any telephone conversations will be kept for no longer than 6 months unless we have good reason to retain this information for an extended duration, such as a contractual dispute.
3.7.4 If you have requested that we do not send you any marketing information, we will always retain the necessary information to ensure that we comply with this request.
3.7.5 If there is a legal requirement to do so, any stated periods in this section may be extended.
4 Cookies
4.1 We may store information on the device that you use to access our website. This information is called a cookie and enables your device to be recognised so that you do not need to re-enter information each time you visit our site. This information cannot be used to identify you.
